In the big tasting hall there is a big Guests’ Book, in which you can find visitors’ opinions and impressions about the wines from Milestii Mici, about our underground wine cellars, ones of the biggest in the world. Here the autographs of Ministers and Presidents lay down nearby the paintings of simple tourists, our usual citizens, especially interested in wines or beautiful places. Japanese hieroglyphs reconcile with Arab band, or English, French and Russian language. The concept about different nationalities disappears under these arches; here all the languages become intelligible, and there does not exist any social differences or other inequality – all are equal after a glass of good wine. Indeed, not without reason an ancient wisdom says that a good wine removes all boundaries and erases all obstacles. All that remain between the people are the good feelings...and the delicious wine. |

This underground wine city appeared in galleries excavated in lime mining operations during the 70-es of the last century, at the depth of 40-85 meters, and is one of the largest wine cellars in the world. The total length of the galleries consists of 200 km, from which more than 50 km are used.
