Sparkling wines
Many types of sparkling wines (champagne) are produced at the State Enterprise Quality Wines Industrial Complex “Milestii Mici".
Beside the traditional white sparkling wines, a special red sparkling wine is prepared, which brought many awards at international contests. There are sweet sparkling wines, semi-sweet, dry and semi-dry.
All the sparkling wines are prepared from thoroughly selected winemaking material. The sparkling wines should be given cooled, mostly with desserts or cakes. Sometimes you don’t even need a special occasion and you can drink it for pleasure.

"Moldova de Lux"– red natural semi-dry sparkling wine, prepared by treating the blending of processed must with endogenous carbon dioxide using the method of periodical second brewing in hermetic tanks under pressure with a following isobaric bottling. The wine is produced from different red European types of grapes. The rich bouquet with cherry bone and black currants flavor harmoniously complete the ruby-red color. It is wonderfully combined with desserts and sponge cakes.

This underground wine city appeared in galleries excavated in lime mining operations during the 70-es of the last century, at the depth of 40-85 meters, and is one of the largest wine cellars in the world. The total length of the galleries consists of 200 km, from which more than 50 km are used.
