Nowadays the SE Quality Wines Complex “Milestii Mici” is at the last stage of implementation the Integrated Management System – Quality (ISO 9001:2000), Environment (ISO 9001:2000), Occupational Health and Safety (BS OHSAS 18001:2007) and Food Safety (ISO 22000:2006).
The implementation of the above management systems has the purpose to increase the SE QWC “Milestii Mici” competitiveness on the internal and external markets, aiming for a continuous improvement of the customer’s satisfaction, the quality of the products and services worked out at the company.

This underground wine city appeared in galleries excavated in lime mining operations during the 70-es of the last century, at the depth of 40-85 meters, and is one of the largest wine cellars in the world. The total length of the galleries consists of 200 km, from which more than 50 km are used.
